My philosophy on racism:
I unapologetic ally confront racism with my work and live as a black man in my life. Have no doubt no matter what you may feel as a result of reading my work that I love all people regardless of race or color. I must; for my divinity is at stake in every act of love uncommitted and no human pain is worth that. But that being said, I have no fear of dealing harshly with harsh realities and as such some things may be said which offend those of us who have not dealt with truth. When I discuss white folk, I am discussing those who view themselves as white before me, complete with all of their arrogance and privilege and exercised power against my world. When I say black folks or some variation thereof I am discussing the mass of humanity which is the collective ancestor of slaves in this country. The interaction of those two masses walking through this race driven life is always the topic usually never discussed every where but here.
